ITV has announced it will be doing a special documentary on the Beatles' hits tied in with the new "
Beatles 1" DVD. It's titled "The Nation’s Favourite Beatles Number One." We mentioned this on "Things We Said Today" on the "Beatles 1" DVD announcement show about two weeks ago. There's no air date or any word on whether it'll be seen in the U.S.
Also, author Andy Babiuk has announced his expanded "Beatles Gear The Ultimate Edition" will be released on November 10. He says the new 512 page book is double the size of the original with over 650 additional new photos including many never before published images of the Beatles with their gear.
