Graham Chapman lives!

Graham Chapman of Monty Python's Flying Circus was a very funny man who left us much too soon in 1989. And his wonderful humor is very evident on the CD "Spot the Loony," which was reissued last month on Right Recordings.
"Spot the Loony" is a stand-up comedy routine done by Chapman in 1988 at Brown University in Rhode Island. The disc starts off in typical Monty Python fashion with "Give Me Some Abuse," where Chapman encourages the audience to do just that in a moment reminiscent of the Monty Python classic "The Argument Clinic." Another great spot on the disc is when Chapman tells a typically loony story about the late Keith Moon of the Who. And Chapman also includes Python's "The Oscar Wilde Sketch."
This is a funny recording that that been now reissued and digitally restored for occasion of the "One Down, Five To Go" Monty Python 2014 reunion. "It's so wonderful to listen to Graham's voice again and to hear him telling stories, so many of which are new to me," says John Cleese of Monty Python (who have been called the Beatles of Comedy and were close to George Harrison) on the inner sleeve. Indeed it very much is.

Wednesday may be a big day in McCartney fan land
A graphic on FB over the weekend showing a gig at Moda Center on April 15 (tickets on sale March 7 supposedly) kicked off the anticipation that something is in the works. It was quickly taken down soon after it was seen on Ticketmaster.

Kickstarter Beatles film facing deadline
With 48 hours to go, Shannon Joy Rodgers' proposed film that has a Beatles theme to it and is being crowd funded on Kickstarter needs some help. She has a total of $4,280 so far, well short of her goal of $18,000.

On your mark, get set ... Paul!
The above graphic popped up on Facebook Sunday afternoon. As you can see, it shows Paul McCartney scheduled for April 15 at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. According to one story we saw, it was seen on Ticketmaster Canada, then taken down. It's not listed on Moda's calendar. Yet.
But is it true? We've heard rumblings that shows will be announced perhaps this week. That could mean several things. The Paul McCartney Twitter account hasn't made a comment. Yet. And his spokesmen are saying nothing. Yet.
