More South America and ? for Paul McCartney

More rumors about Paul McCartney playing in South America. (Photo courtesy Nasty Little Man)
As we've reported, indications are Paul McCartney, who is about to begin dates in Japan next week, is making preparations for shows in South America. A new date reported by Rolling Stone in Brazil, - Oct. 17 in Belo Horizonte, is the same city where he opened the Out There tour in 2013. No South America dates have been officially announced yet, but we hear there will be news soon -- and not just about South America. (Thanks to A.X. for the tip.)

And don't forget to pay a visit to the That's What I Want Beatles Store, the totally Fab place to explore. And where you'll find the Sgt. Pepper 50th anniversary sets at a great price (and free shipping for Amazon Prime members), the Paul McCartney "Flowers in the Dirt" reissue and much much more.

Looks like Paul McCartney is planning South American shows

It looks like Paul McCartney is planning to return to South America this year. Writer Mario Adolfo reported today (and relayed to us by Elio Sant'Anna) that plans are in the works for Paul McCartney to perform in Brazil in October in Manaus. Adolfo also reported that El Globo reporter Ancelmo Gois has written that Paul will perform in Brazil for the 50th anniversary of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." The city of Salvador has been mentioned as a possible site. Sant'Anna also tells us a third city, Curitiba, has been mentioned. Paul's reps have been seen in Brazil. McCartney has only announced shows in Japan so far. Stay tuned.

Speaking of "Sgt. Pepper," advance orders for the Super Deluxe 50th anniversary "Sgt. Pepper" sets are still strong. As of today, over a week after they were announced, they are the #4 overall seller on Amazon.com. (By comparison, it's #37 on Amazon.co.uk in Great Britain.)

Be sure to check out our That's What I Want Beatles Store for everything Beatles. It's a great place to explore. Order your set from one of the links below:
