George Harrison memorial tonight in Los Angeles

The15th Anniversary George Harrison Public Memorial Remembrance’ will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. PST at George Harrison’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star located in front of the Capitol Records Tower at 1750 Vine Street. Harrison passed away on Nov. 29, 2001 after a bout with cancer.

Fans can bring candles and flowers to place around his star and are also invited to share songs, poems and personal remembrances at the event “open mic."

A special memorial for John Lennon is set at Lennon's Walk of Fame Star, right next to George's, on Dec. 8. For more information on either event, go to visit www.facebook.com/BeatlesMemorialCelebrations/
