Looks like Paul McCartney is planning South American shows

It looks like Paul McCartney is planning to return to South America this year. Writer Mario Adolfo reported today (and relayed to us by Elio Sant'Anna) that plans are in the works for Paul McCartney to perform in Brazil in October in Manaus. Adolfo also reported that El Globo reporter Ancelmo Gois has written that Paul will perform in Brazil for the 50th anniversary of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band." The city of Salvador has been mentioned as a possible site. Sant'Anna also tells us a third city, Curitiba, has been mentioned. Paul's reps have been seen in Brazil. McCartney has only announced shows in Japan so far. Stay tuned.

Speaking of "Sgt. Pepper," advance orders for the Super Deluxe 50th anniversary "Sgt. Pepper" sets are still strong. As of today, over a week after they were announced, they are the #4 overall seller on Amazon.com. (By comparison, it's #37 on Amazon.co.uk in Great Britain.)

Be sure to check out our That's What I Want Beatles Store for everything Beatles. It's a great place to explore. Order your set from one of the links below:
